Areas of Expertise

ABA Therapy

ABA therapy applies our understanding of how behavior works to real situations. The goal is to increase behaviors that are helpful and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affect learning.

Mentorship
Assessments

Services begin with an intake interview and assessment to gather all the pertinent information about a client’s clinical information, skill set, weaknesses, and areas that are most seriously impacting his or her daily life. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) works closely with the client and his or her caregivers to identify goals and a treatment plan. Service delivery varies depending on a client’s age, skills, and specific needs. In most cases, one or several Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) work on the treatment goals one-on-one directly with the client in their home. A BCBA and BCaBA supervises RBT services, analyzes the client’s progress, makes decisions about ongoing treatment, and helps caregivers apply ABA principles and interventions throughout the client’s day. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in interventions during and outside of sessions, to ensure maximum impact.
